Charge Dismissed – 2/3/2016
Because our client had at least 3 prior major criminal traffic violations within the past 5 years, the client was facing a charge of Driving While License Suspended as a Habitual Traffic Offender. Such a charge may be a felony and is generally treated harshly by prosecutors and judges (usually seeking to impose jail as a sanction). Fortunately, we were able to go back and get 2 prior major traffic convictions set aside, resulting in the client no longer being considered a Habitual Traffic Offender. This allowed the client to obtain a valid driver license. Seminole County Criminal Court.
